The Dream

Greetings! Thanks for joining me at this site and giving me the opportunity to tell you a little about myself as I am one of those lucky few who has always wanted to be a dentist. My practice is a very personalized one that keeps me energized and ready for the next wonderful challenge. I think of dentistry as an artistic craft as well as a science. A professional person has an obligation to be a continual student. Our Continuing Education far exceeds the requirements for licensure. The leaders in esthetic dentistry have been my teachers. Recently I studied with internationally recognized leaders from San Francisco and Dallas at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. I graduated from Northwestern University and I have also taught in the Crown and Bridge Department. My solo practice was established in 1980, and in 1992 I moved into our present clinic. The wonderful thing about the clinic is that it reflects much about who I am and what is important to me. Just as I do for my patients, I did the building right the first time! Being a continual student requires a great deal of commitment to not only reading the current journals, but also being part of local, state and national organizations. Recently, I retired from nine years of active involvement with the Northwest Indiana Peer Review Board. I am a member of the American Dental Society, the Indiana Dental Association, The Indiana Dental Association/Indiana University School of Dentistry Academy of Continuing Education, which hosts an internationally known speaker twice a year. Also included in my affiliations is the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, the Porter County Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. The Chicago Dental Society gives access to the finest continuing education dental meeting in the world. If you can get 30,000 people from all over the world to come to Chicago in February, you know it has to be a wonderful meeting!

Atmosphere

The most common remark when someone enters the clinic is "WOW'! Is this really a dental office? They're right! No where is there any clinical evidence that would say "dental office". What it could be compared to is an art gallery. The treatment rooms all face expansive views of rolling countryside, trees, water and birds galore! It is not unusual for all of this serenity to cause one to drift off into a wonderful slumber while listening to soothing music. I might add that a snoring client has never presented a problem. This is the best kind of painless dentistry. We love it! Come visit us anytime.

Philosophy

Our philosophy has always been to do it right the first time! This eliminates emergency situations and the expensive need to do it over. We take great pride in understanding what kind of outcome someone desires.

Staff

My staff has been with me for many years. The beauty of having such long-term relationships is that we have "grown" our philosophy together. We all own it. Each one of us is committed to making sure that each client is understood and thrilled with the results.
